They landed on your photography website, now what? π€
Are your viewers turning into clients? Are they reaching out to you for more information about your photography services? If not, it might be time to check some important things. ππΌππΌ
π Here are THE BIGGEST Mistakes To Avoid on Your Showit Website:
1. Lacking a clear call to action –
What do you want your clients to do on your site? Is it laid out in an easy-to-navigate manner? Are you straight to the point when telling them the next steps?
2. Unclear brand messaging-
If you have branding use it. CONSISTENTLY. Same fonts, colors, and photography style. This helps create a brand that clients can relate to and rely on.
3. Weak search engine optimization (SEO) page titles, text tags, keywords, and meta descriptions all factor in how your clients find you online!
4. Poor mobile experience- most of your users will view your website on their phones before contacting you. This is why itβs crucial that your mobile website looks as good & functions, if not BETTER than your desktop one. Read our mobile optimization guidelines post here.
5. No prices- this is my BIGGEST pet peeve and super controversial in the industry. I hate visiting sites that donβt even list a starting point, and the majority of the time will leave the site to find someone who I KNOW is in my budget. Why waste your time or your clients’ time not listing your prices? π€π€·π»ββοΈ
