We are thrilled to announce the launch of Manda Jean Photography‘s new brand identity. Manda was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we couldn’t be more excited to unveil her stunning new brand presence. Her brands’ key values are unique, artistic, emotional, documentary, feminine, and nature-inspired, and our goal was to display the importance of branding elements and their ability to convey a feeling or tell a story.

Manda is a talented wedding and family photographer from Northeastern Pennsylvania. She shot her first wedding back in 2008 while still in school, and since then, she has been shooting for clients while also going back to her fine art roots. After thirteen years of freelancing and side hustles, Manda has finally taken the leap and gone full-fledged into business for herself. This year marks her 15th year in business, and she now resides in her hometown of Tuscarora, Pennsylvania, with her husband, three children, and their rescue pup, Blue.

Manda has a BS in Photography from the Art Institute of Pitt and an MBA from William and Mary. She loves traveling, snowboarding, coffee, and seafood (even though she’s a vegetarian), and her drink of choice is Jack Daniels on the rocks. As for her shooting style, the more artistic she can be with photography, the better. She loves outdoor shoots, and she’s always up for a new location, concept, or challenge. Manda’s personal goal is to make art out of every session she shoots, and she wants her work to stand out and evoke emotions in people.

We asked Manda to share a little bit about her experience with RSD for any prospective clients, here’s what she had to say:

What is your favorite part about your new branding?
The logo is more a reflection of me, my vibe, my brand.

How do you think this updated look will impact your photography business?
I believe it will allow me to showcase my brand to ideal clients.I also feel like I’m able to market myself better because it is a truer version of who I am and what I do.

Did we successfully accomplish your design goals?
Yessss. I loved being able to bounce ideas off you and feeling 100% comfortable collaborating.

Could you write a more general review of our experience working together and the finished project?
From start to finish I felt like my brand was in good hands; it was easy to collaborate and voice my ideas at any point in the project. I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted initially, but the process was so easy to ensure my personality was infused each step of the way. I feel like my brand is now more of my own, it now represents who I am and what I do.
