Founded in 2011 by Taryn Boyd, Blu Hippo Photography specializes in maternity, newborn, family, and senior portraits, with a commitment to creating authentic and timeless images. Taryn’s approach goes beyond just taking pictures; she’s a storyteller, dedicated to immortalizing the genuine moments and emotions that define each family’s unique journey.
Taryn came to me at the start of the year after talking with several other designers in the industry. She wanted to create a unique presence, one that resonates with both her eclectic, fun, personality-packed senior sessions but also embraced her timeless family sessions. In hope to find a balance between the two VERY difference niches.
And that is exactly what we did.
Through strategic branding and in depth research we created a brand that will grow with her. Embracing a hand drawn old-school style drawing of an iconic Pittsburgh bridge and also a unique custom ligature infused serif font.
Her Bespoke Showit Web Design showcases unique shadowing, textures, pops of paint splatters and custom hand drawn elements that adds depth and an abundance of emotion to her eclectic brand. Keep scrolling to find out what Taryn had to say about working with us!

- What is your favorite part of your new Showit website?
“I think it reflects who I am and who my clients are. I love it all but I wanted my senior page to shine and be more funky to speak to a younger audience so I had some unique asks (like the wrap text) and Tiffany delivered!” - What is your favorite part about your new branding:
“It’s classic and timeless!” - How do you feel your updated look will impact your business?
“I think it better reflects the brand and will pull in the right audience.” - Did we successfully accomplish your design goals?
